Preserving and promoting traditional crafts

The association is fully committed to preserving and promoting arts and crafts, not only in Puisaye but throughout France. It champions excellence in craftsmanship, 

handicrafts and artisanal traditions in the face of contemporary challenges: globalization, artificial intelligence, and economic change. In this context, Les Manaïstes Associés become a veritable shield, 

protecting the micro-economy of the arts and crafts against the forces of the macro-economy, while creating a bridge for encounters, discoveries, and exchanges. The association is not simply a networking venue, 

It is the opposite of the Bridge of Sighs: a vibrant space where innovation and tradition intersect to inspire the future.

2026 events for members

• April 25, 2026: Conference during the open house – "The Puisaye region and its resources as a source of inspiration for contemporary designers."
• June 18, 2026: Cocktail reception and lecture hosted by Masayuki Inaida (reservation required).
• November 5, 2026: End-of-year party and conference on “Artisans and AI.”

The long-term project

The association aims to:

• Increase the number of events on current topics and innovation in craftsmanship.
• Make Campus MaNa a key location for promoting art and crafts in all their forms.
• Promoting Puisaye and its expertise, while highlighting the value of skilled trades throughout France.
• Promoting access to arts and crafts professions for younger generations through school and educational projects.
