Intended for professionals as well as amateurs of interior decoration, this training offers the opportunity to understand both the use and benefits of color and material, by learning to take into account the brightness factor.
For three days, trainers and trainees are fully immersed in the heart of Campus MaNa where they take the time to exchange during the workshops but also during the relaxation breaks, a resolutely enriching experience!
Learners move from a practical workshop to a more theoretical one, or vice versa, in order to be able to support interior decoration projects or transform their own interior with confidence.
At the end of the training, the trainee will have assimilated:
A paint manufacturer based in Provence since 1946, Ressource is an independent family business, heir to exceptional know-how for four generations. It offers easy-to-apply paints, with finishes ranging from matte to glossy and over a thousand colors.
Ressource is expanding its offering with collaborations with brands recognized by the decoration industry, lime and coatings and a sharp selection of wallpapers. Today, the EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) labeled brand is committed to 100% French eco-responsible manufacturing and chooses short-circuit raw materials.
This immersive training takes place in two modules and two groups, a 10-hour theoretical part that will be led by Julie Briest and a 10-hour practical workshop led by Jessy Travers.
Julie covers the psychology, specificities and symbolism of color with an introduction to the appropriate vocabulary, while addressing the history of color. She teaches the analysis of a space and its brightness, the understanding and harmonies of hues through color charts and color wheel in order to imagine the best possible associations.
At the end of this training, each participant leaves with a theoretical booklet, a color wheel and color charts.
In his workshop, Jessy highlights the historical and aesthetic bases of painting. He works on the various applications, from flat full-tone paints to the application of decorative coatings, including lime paint (ironed, smoothed and brushed), while teaching some notions of surface preparation. Learners are invited to reproduce gestures and techniques in order to better understand the material.
Julie Briest, color expert for Ressource, invites you to dive into the world of color and discover the impact it has not only on our interiors, but also on our behavior, all while learning to create atmospheres using color charts, samples, natural or artificial light and other color wheel.
Jessy Travers, technical referent and applicator trainer at Ressource, will make the link between theory and practice by leading a workshop where the different techniques of applying paint, lime and coatings will be covered.
